Daily Monkey | 1930 Model A

The Ford Model T is the poster child for early Ford automobiles, but it could be argued that it was the T&A that solidified Ford’s place as a dominant force. In its first year, the Model A would sell a million units and its two-millionth just five months later. Growth didn’t slow and by its third year the three millionth unit was sold and six variations of the A were available. The run would be short lived, but nothing shy of phenomenal moving an average of a million units a year during the four-year run.

This 1930 was the second to last year of the A’s run and representative of the Tudor Sedan style. With an upgraded 350ci V8 engine, Holley carb and TH350 transmission this street rod Model A is a departure from the original setup, but a tribute to Ford’s past and one badass A-bone.
