Aptly named this bar is not much larger than a single wide trailer, but within those walls Single Wide has created one of Dallas’s best bars. Scrubbed clean of the douchebaggery that can often accompany Dallas bars, Single Wide provides a no frills drinking establishment, but not without implementing their unique take on some classic drinks.
The must try is without a doubt their version of white Russian, the Yoohoo Yeehaw because Texas and because it is basically drinking a Yoo-hoo with alcohol, oh, and it’s frozen to the consistency of a Wendy’s Frosty. Additionally, Single Wide offers up some other unique twists like the Freedom 75 and the Old Timer, a no B.S. Old Fashioned. And with a decor of interesting art, hub caps and knick knacks aplenty paired with some of the chillest bar tenders around, Single Wide in the resurgent lower Greenville area is the place to drink.
