‘Gone In 60 Seconds’ Eleanor Up For Grabs… Legally

Tell your band of car stealing misfits to take Saturday, January 19th off because this 1967 Ford Mustang is being sold legally at Barrett-Jackson.

In fact, this year’s Scottsdale auction will see five “Eleanor” tributes cross the block, but this ’67 Fastback is unique in that it actually appeared in the Nicolas Cage film, Gone in 60 Seconds. The car will be sold with a certificate of authenticity by Cinema Vehicle Services stating that it was one of the Mustangs used in the street scenes of the film and will be sold with the license plate it wore in the film.

Since this car was actually driven in the film it is more than just a rolling chassis packing a 351ci Ford Motorsport crate engine, 3 speed automatic transmission and Total Control suspension. Easily one of the more iconic movie cars in history this ’67 Ford Mustang is ripe for any film buff, Mustang collector or Nic Cage fan, but we doubt there are too many of the latter willing to fork over this kinda money.
