2019 Suburban Gets Big Power To Match Big Stature

Growing up in Texas the Chevy Suburban was the SUV of choice for moms getting the kids to and from school making the carpool line look more like a presidential motorcade than suburbia, but, what can I say, people like things big here. Now the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban is getting a power upgrade to compliment its size.

First debuting last spring on the Tahoe the RST Performance Package will bring a 6.2L V-8 to the Suburban for the first time and a long with it a 420hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque output. Additionally, a new 10-speed automatic transition will aid in a smoother acceleration while Magnetic Ride Control will monitor the road and adjust the shock absorbers in fewer than five milliseconds making for a smoother ride.

The RST Performance Package will launch later this year with more information coming then.
