Debuting two weeks back at Goodwood the ES Mustang found its way back stateside to EAA’s annual AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI where it was auctioned off for a pretty staggering $420,000.
The car is a one-off build by Vaughn Gittin Jr., Mustang RTR and Ford Performance to honor Eagle Squadron pilots during WWII. The money raised will go toward the EAA’s Young Eagle program helping introduce children and teens to the world of aviation. The high-bidder will also receive an expenses paid trip to the Woodward Dream Cruise where they will accept this one-of-a-kind Mustang.
