Owner’s Dana and Lorne Hinkle brought this classic Model A to life with the help of there sons and the result is one mean looking “Bully.” And unlike most hot rods you don’t begin talking about the paint, but this is not most… Pete “Hot Dog” Finlan meticulously laid this PPG paint to create the complex pattern across this entire Ford.
Under the metaphorical hood is a 540cc aluminum HEMI (Indy block) with an 871 blower fuel injection by Retrotech and a TriCity Transmission Reid Racing turbo 400. Steve’s Bodyworks did the body, Azteca Polishing and Sanchez Polishing, while Escondido Custom Upholstery brought the interior to life. In all, the labor of love on behalf of the Hinkle family, combined with some very talented shops came together to create one of the raddest looking Fords we’ve ever seen.
