In all 12 Cadillacs will be offered with no reserve this weekend at Leake Auction Company’s Dallas auction, but the standout is by far the 1948 Cadillac Series 61 Sedanette Fastback. This ’48 represents the first year that fins would appear on a Cadillac representing a design element which would become iconic to the brand in the years to come. Additionally, the run was very limited, in fact, just 3,521 were produced for the model year and this is a surviving one having undergone restoration in San Antonio.
