Did you know Airstream trailers were still being made new? Our guess is many didn’t, but either way it’s a safe bet that you had no idea business was booming for the iconic manufacturer.
“The RV industry is enjoying a golden age as a new generation of Americans discover the joys of outdoor adventure with all the comforts of home,” said Bob Martin, President and CEO of Airstream parent company Thor Industries.
This is good news for everyone that enjoys the open road, as well as those who stand to benefit from the company’s new 750,000 square-foot factory. When the facility opens in Jackson Center, Ohio in 2019 it will bring some 1,200 jobs to the area and be completely dependent upon renewable energy, both boding well for the 68-year-old manufacturer.
