Debuting at Tech Fest at Central St Martins, University of the Arts London, the wheel of “2040 and beyond” aims to help disrupt driving as we know it today. JLR envisions a future in which the steering wheel would be the only part of the car that you would own and capable or carrying out 100s of tasks, such as: calling on an autonomous car, planning route and alerting the driver when it is time to wake up. The concept will be featured on the new Jaguar FUTURE-TYPE.
