There is a charm associated with a one owner car, as well as a value, but it’s the former that really grasps car lovers. In the case of this Oldsmobile 442 Convertible it has been a love affair with its owner that has spanned 50 years.
It is clear from the window sticker, sales invoice and original title that will accompany the sale of this 442 that the owner of it was meticulous in his record keeping, a trait which carried over into the upkeep of the car. The triple black ’67 represents the final year of the first-generation 442 and is distinguished from the previous years by its louvered hood. Aside from the new hood most of the elements on this later year first-generation remain in line with the prior years. Offered in a 330 CI and 400CI this 442 features the latter 6.6-liter V8. Not to go without mention is the AM radio for all you fans of talk radio and traffic updates.
