If you’re not familiar with Jaguar Land Rover Classic it’s worth looking at everything you can find about what they’re up to. In short, the keyword is “Classic.” Aimed at restoring the brands classics, “Classic Works” in Warwickshire, UK has brought back to life numerous of the most iconic Jaguars and Land Rovers through painstaking research and restoration. One such restoration, though with a twist, is this E-type roadster dubbed E-type Zero which will make even the most stubborn of electric car haters believe in their future.
Once dubbed “the most beautiful car in the world” by Enzo Ferrari this 1968 Series 1.5 Jaguar E-type Roadster was converted into a zero emissions vehicle. And not only does the fully electric powertrain do its part for the environment, it does it’s part for the E-Type Zero by shaving one full second off the cars 0-62mph time, bringing it to 5.5-seconds. The car was unveiled at Jaguar Land Rover Tech Fest and will be on display at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London through the weekend.
