Monkey Business Stables’ Colt Mizzen Me To Make Texas Debut

Horse barns to barn finds, ponies to pony cars, Gas Monkey Garage is all about fast things and Mizzen Me, a three-year-old colt from Monkey Business Stables, is no exception. Having spent his entire 2017 season out west at Santa Anita Park Mizzen Me has come home, so to speak, to Dallas, the home of GMG. Mizzen Me will race Sunday, May 21 at Lonestar Park in Grand Prairie. In addition to the sunny California weather, Mizzen Me will also be leaving behind regular trainer J. Keith Desormeaux, who doesn’t operate at Lonestar, for M. Brent Davidson. Mizzen Me looks to regain his spark from earlier in the year when he kicked off 2017 with a win, but unfortunately followed two fifths and a fourth. Mizzen Me will race in the seventh race Sunday.
