Car Spotting | Pro Touring 1966 Ford Mustang

The car scene is made up of perhaps the most diverse and passionate group of people in the world; however, that doesn’t mean that they always see eye to eye. Ford vs Chevrolet, truck vs car, foreign vs domestic, the list goes on and on, as do the wide-ranging opinions. Needless to say, when an automotive segment pushes the boundaries of styles merging two it can go one of two ways, very bad or very good. Thankfully, in recent years as Pro Touring style cars have emerged on the scene they have done so with exceptional styling and attention to detail.

This 1966 Ford Mustang is a fine example of the Pro Touring genre done right. Staying primarily true to the original styling of the car it does take modern cues from the 2017 Mustang GT350. Additionally, the Oxoford white echoes the modern Mustang look in a bold way. Under the hood it’s producing 425hp from at fuel injected 331 Stroker with T5 5-speed transmission and Wilwood clutch. Bullitt wheels invoke that classic Mustang heritage while the solid black color scheme compliments the exterior and white powder coated details.
