If merely watching one of the world’s most prestigious races wasn’t enough to keep you up all night then certainly doing so to catch a glimpse of Larbre Competition’s livery will be. The team’s Chevrolet Corvette C7.R will join a wide range of competitors June 17 and 18 in the 85th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but it’s a safe bet that none will be quite as bright.
The brain child of street/pop artist Ramzi Adek, the C7.R’s livery is reflective of the comic books he knew as a kid and was guided only by a few keywords, like “human,” as directed by the team. Taking the impact of the design even further is the fluorescent paint which will illuminate throughout the race’s night portion.
