Dodge is rolling out their Officer Protection Package to the 2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit. The package is aimed at increasing officer’s awareness when parked, predominantly aimed at protecting them from a rear ambush. Tech upgrades to the 2018 package aid in this through cameras and the addition of Rear Cross Path detection sensors.
The added technology of the Officer Protection Package joins an abundance of tech already featured in the 2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit including a new 7-inch Uconnect screen. Underneath all the bells and whistles of the Charger Pursuit is some good ole muscle with an AWD V8 and best in class 370hp. Additionally, styling for the Charger Pursuit draws from 60’s era Chargers, so as much as you may want to see it in your rear view, it’s probably not a good idea.
