Juan Pablo Montoya took to famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway this morning to turn the first laps in cars equipped with the new IndyCar aerodynamic kits. Montoya’s Chevrolet was later joined by Oriol Servia in his Honda, both Dallara IR-12s.
After debuting the cars prior to taking to the track, the laps around the famous 2.5-mile track come as part of mandated testing by IndyCar. Pending any complications during testing the new kits will go onto the cars in 2018 for all superspeedway races.
