When Ducati debuted the XDiavel it had the heart of a Ducati super, but the spirit of a cruiser. Since then the brand has embraced the cruiser spirit more and more with the XDiavel inspiring concepts like the XDiavel by Roland Sands and the draXter by the Ducati Design Center. Now Ducati looks to take the XDiavel and cruiser spirit further by showing of its customization potential with the help of Belgian customizer Fred Kruger.
The Tiverval, named for a track outside of Paris, embraces its “Ducati DNA,” but styling is a bit of a departure from the usual. The engine is fully visible, but the Treills frame hidden to create an almost mechanical looking bike, as though the bike itself is just a piece of a greater whole. The headlight screams XDiavel while the exhaust and tail, with incorporated rear light, all showcase Krugger’s talent.
