After a week away from his Pro Stock Camaro and the NHRA, Alex returns to both this weekend in the Fallen Patriots NHRA Route 66 Nationals presented by K&N Filters. Hosted just outside of Chicago in Elwood, IL at the Route 66 Raceway, a track that has plagued Alex in the past, he looks for redemption this year.
“In the past I didn’t run well at Bristol or St. Louis then came back to them and won,” said Alex. “So, looking to keep the pattern.” Just one NHRA event removed from his Wally win at the Bristol Dragway momentum is on his side entering qualifying Friday. And with a friendly face, GMG’s Charles, in his pits optimism is high for Alex and the Gas Monkey Energy team.
