One of 58 produced this 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird is classic muscle with extremely low mileage. The rarity is the result of the heavy-duty A833 4-speed manual transmission. Which combined with its 2002 restoration has earned it, according to Mecum, a “Silver Certification at the 2002 Mopar Nationals, with one judge noting in the judging documents that points were deducted not for incorrect components, but for some features being ‘way better than factory!’ In 2003, it was awarded Best American Muscle Car at the prestigious Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.”
Additionally, it was one of 135 Hemi Superbirds. This ‘Winged Warrior’ crosses the block at Mecum Harrisburg the first weekend in August.
