New Rolls-Royce Edition Chases Youth, Average Buyer Just 45

Rolls-Royce rolled out a permanent line of bespoke cars in 2016 called Black Badge. The idea behind the cars was to attract a new breed of Rolls-Royce drivers who had different wants and needs than those who have come to know the brand throughout its storied history.

In fact, the company’s CEO just recently told Bloomberg that the average owner’s age is just 45 years old, down 11 years from just seven years ago. The company has now announced at Goodwood they will be expanding their Black Badge line to now include the Dawn, along with the Ghost and Wraith.
