Nearly coinciding with a Kelley Blue Book piece indicating a shift in millennial’s buying habits toward SUVs as they finally beginning moving from cities to suburbs to start families, Hyundai has confirmed to Reuters their entry into the world of pickups.
Way back in 2015 Hyundai showcased their Santa Cruz crossover truck concept at the Detroit Auto Show. It is believed that the Korean manufacturer’s new truck will be based on that Santa Cruz concept, but per usual mum is the word for Hyundai until the truck’s formal introduction rumored to be 2020. An obvious choice for the debut would again be Detroit as the Hyundai truck would make an instant splash in the city that Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford built and continue to own, especially in regards to the truck segment.
