As the adage goes, “if you’ve got it, flaunt it,” and FCA certainly has something with their 707hp super-charged 6.2-liter V8 engine. First rising to notoriety as the powerhouse for the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats, the engine has now found a home in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk which the manufacturer had previously announced as, “the most powerful and quickest SUV ever.”
Customer’s will finally begin to place orders beginning Thursday, August 10 for fourth quarter delivery, but the Trackhawk will come at a price. A MSRP of $85,900 not including the $1,095 destination fee, a near $20,000 more than its closest Grand Cherokee counterpart, the SRT. Or a mere $17,399 per spouse, little Jack and Susie, and Spot hanging his puppy dog head out the window at 180mph or at 0-60mph in 3.5-seconds.
