The trio of Peter Brock, Jim Marietta and Ted Sutton aka The Venice Crew, may sound like a doo-wop group from the 1950s, but they’re three of the original Shelby American employees. And while it’s been over 50 years since the trio helped make history, they stand to do it again when they produce 36 1965 2+2 Mustangs. The 36 Shelby GT350Rs will be officially-licensed continuation cars built at the Shelby American World Headquarters. The cars will reflect the design elements Peter had imagined back in the 60s but was unable to make a reality due to various production factors.
