The Mustang is no stranger to having some of the most iconic names in motorsports tied to it: Shelby, McLaren, Roush and now… RTR. And while not a last name, RTR is the brainchild of Mustang “madman,” and world champion drifter, Vaughn Gittin Jr.
Developed by RTR, in conjunction with Ford, the 2018 Ford Mustang RTR will be available in a Spec 1, Spec 2 and Spec 3 version at select dealers worldwide. The first is, for the most part, cosmetic, dubbed RTR Exterior Design Package. The RTR Tactical Performance is Spec 2 and features adjustable shocks/struts, axle back exhaust/performance calibration and lowering springs and more, amongst the standard appearance package and LED grille lighting.
However, the pièce de résistance is the RTR Supercharged Performance option putting out over 700hp when added to the GT package. Additionally, it features touches of the above and way more.
