Well, just like Bugatti’s 0-400-0 km/h run was super quick, so was there time as record holder having been dethroned by Koenigsegg in under a month.
Koenigsegg achieved the record breaking run at an airfield in Vandel, Denmark where it’s Agera RS accelerated from a dead stop to 249mph to zero in a mind-blowing 36.44 seconds at a distance of 1,958 meters. To help put it into perspective, that’s a full five seconds quicker, 5.52 to be exact, quicker than Bugatti’s run with Juan Pablo Montoya back in September. Koenigsegg’s Agera RS was piloted by factory test driver, Niklas Lilja.
It’s also worth noting that the Agera RS used was not purpose built, but rather a customer’s car soon to be delivered to the United States, making Koenigsegg even more badass!
