Somewhere at Discovery someone is patting themselves on the back for that Meghan Trainor reference in the title, but it’s true. The takeaway from this week’s episode was Brian Bass.
With the step-van squarely in the rear-view it’s back to basics at Gas Monkey Garage and that means hot rods, but in typical monkey fashion they’re putting their on twist on things. A 1934 Ford coupe in the styling of a ’60’s hot rod and to help pull off such a feat they enlist the help of local Dallas hot rodder, Brian Bass.
A Texas native, Bass is a hot-rodder through and through, with the occasional bike mixed in. He is also Fast N’ Loud’s first ever guest builder which off the bat may have some out there scratching their head, but working with the best only makes you better. And while you all will have to wait for the second part of the episode to air, Bass is the best and with the Monkeys they produce one kickass hot rod.
