Ram loves special edition trucks and Texans love trucks, so guess what? Ram has announced two new editions for 2018: Laramie Longhorn Southfork and Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver.
Inside the Southfork the driver will feel as though they’re in a leather shop in Arizona. One hundred percent full-grain leather wraps the seats, leather wrapped A and B pillars, as well as a full suede headliner make up the luxurious interior. The interior will also bring the latest in Ram technology within arms reach of the driver, “with Uconnect 4C 8.4-inch touchscreen, which includes navigation, 4G WiFi capability, Apple Car Play and Google Android Auto.”
The Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition is available on Ram 1500/2500/3500 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cab, Mega Cab, long or short box. Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition MSRP starts at at $51,220 plus $1,395 destination. MSRP for Ram 2500 Heavy Duty models is $55,620, plus $1,395.
On the flip side is the Lone Star Silver edition which features a cloth or vinyl interior option and a slew of exterior accents, such as, a new “luxury grille with chrome surround and chrome Wave Mesh inserts.”
The Ram Heavy Duty Lone Star Silver edition is available on Ram 2500/3500 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cab with a choice of 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8, 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 or renowned 6.7-liter Cummins I-6 featuring the highest available torque at 930 lb.-ft. Pricing is $46,130 with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $44,735, plus a $1,395 destination charge.
