The struggle to bridge the gap between performance and eco-friendliness is one that all manufacturers are facing as the marketplace changes. Hoping to once and for all cater to both Toyota has unveiled their GR HV SPORTS concept ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show.
Catering to the adrenaline junkie and earth first types, the Toyota concept’s design is reminiscent of their TS050 Hybrid race car which competes in endurance races. Additionally, it is “powered by THS-R (Toyota Hybrid System-Racing) that is infused with hybrid technology refined by the TS050 Hybrid” and for good measure has a targa top from the Toyota Sports 800 and Supra.
